Maybe you should (smile). Well, I’ve moved 10 times in 15 years. It’s really not a fun experience. Fortunately, most of those moves were in my younger single days. It only gets more difficult as you get older. You tend to have more stuff… and if you have kids, moving is like moving a mountain. Cost is certainly a factor when you consider moving. It can get pretty expensive. Many people like to do-it-themselves. Frankly, I like to pack my own things because I know that I’m going to take care of them… and some of my things simply can’t be replaced.
There’s the truck rental option and it’s certainly cheaper than hiring a full service moving company… but then, you do it all…. and it doesn’t ever work out to be as cheap as you might think.
