Last Minute Grab Before Vacation

I woke us last night all excited about a road trip out to point reyes. For those of you in Northern California, you probably know what I’m talking about, but others may not. So, let me explain…
If the month you are in contains an “R” then it’s generally considered a good month to get fresh oysters. The issue with the months that don’t have “R” is that they tend to be warmer and the oysters tend to be less firm and not as appealing.
Shoot, I’m way off course here. Must be getting late. The reason for my post is that when I got up the night before our oyster voyage, I accidentally stepped on my glasses. They broke. They were my last pair. And, now I was blind.
My wife pointed me in the direction of this great website that I wanted to make you aware of. It’s eyeglasses central as far as I’m concerned and they have tons and tons of frames and lenses. The really cool thing (in my opinion) is that the do all private label. Meaning, you don’t have to pay to get “name brand” frames. Trust me, the styling and quality is the same, but you just get to save a few bucks.
